Insurance for Accidental Death, Dismemberment, and Hospitalization due to Accident.
- This policy provides previously established capital should the policyholder die as a result of an accident.
- The dismemberment coverage for the loss of one of your main members (hands, feet, legs, or vision) as a result of an accident will be compensated at 50% the capital established. If the policyholder suffers the loss of two of his or her main members, the compensation will be equal to the capital established for accidental death.
- The policyholder will have accident hospitalization coverage, which will be paid on a monthly basis while he or she is hospitalized.
- The available limits for accidental death and dismemberment are from $10,000 to $100,000.

Capital
Accidental death and dismemberment insurance will provide a pre-established capital if the insured dies as a result of an accident, as well as family coverage at the time of the loss of the family group.
In case of an accident
Dismemberment coverage is also provided in the event of an accident.
Paid hospitalization
The insured will have hospitalization coverage in the event of an accident, which will be paid monthly while the insured remains hospitalized.

General Conditions
The general terms and conditions of MAPFRE LIFE’s Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance detail the coverage available to policyholders, as well as the benefits, requirements, and restrictions established in the agreement.
If the insured dies as a result of an accident, MAPFRE LIFE will pay the beneficiary the amount of the insurance previously designated by the insured.
This insurance is issued under an Individual Plan and is issued to the person named as the insured and to eligible family members if the policy is issued under a Family Plan.
Compensations will be indicated in the Tables of Benefits and Premiums established for the following cases: accidental death, dismemberment, hospitalization due to an accident, or due to a physical disability endorsement.
Compensations payable under the policy for any loss other than losses for which the policy provides a periodic payment will be paid immediately upon receipt of written proof of such loss.
Requirements and Restrictions
MAPFRE LIFE’s Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance establishes a series of requirements and restrictions that users should be aware of in order to understand their rights and obligations when purchasing the policy.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance does not cover losses, whether fatal or not, caused by or resulting from suicide or attempted suicide, or injuries inflicted by the insured.
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance does not cover losses, whether fatal or not, caused by or resulting from suicide or attempted suicide, or injuries inflicted by the insured.
- The available limits for accidental death and dismemberment range from $10,000 to $100,000.
- If, due to an accident, the insured loses a combination of two primary limbs, MAPFRE LIFE will pay the corresponding principal sum according to the Table of Benefits and Premiums.
- If the loss is of only one limb, MAPFRE LIFE will pay the insured half of the corresponding principal sum.
- Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance does not cover losses, whether fatal or not, caused by or resulting from injuries received while the Insured is a member of the armed forces of any country or international authority.
- Losses incurred under the influence of alcoholic or intoxicating beverages, drugs, narcotics, or hallucinogens, except those taken under medical prescription, are also not covered.

Among the recommendations when purchasing a product are the following:

- It is advisable to understand the clauses, limitations, and requirements of the policy so you can act accurately in each case.
- The first premium must be paid on the policy date, and the remainder can be paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually.
- The premium payment method may be changed by the policyholder on any policy anniversary.
- In the event of a claim, written notice of the claim must be given to the Company within twenty days after the occurrence or commencement of any loss covered by the policy, or as soon as reasonably possible after such term.
