On Saturday, October 2, we celebrate MAPFRE’s Volunteer Day. This year we dedicate it once again to the topic of Nutrition since about 9% of the world’s population (more than 690 million people) suffer from hunger.
Thanks to the efforts of all the volunteers, we delivered more than 100 food purchases to needy and disadvantaged families in the Municipality of Ponce, benefiting more than 100 families in collaboration with the Salvation Army. We thank all the employees who participated and contributed in the food drive since August and in the preparation of the boxes for the delivery of the food.
Through this action, we contribute to the 2030 Agenda and have a direct impact on two of MAPFRE’s priority Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 1 “End of Poverty” and SDG 2 “Zero Hunger”.
